16 Must-Follow Facebook Pages for blog icon Marketers

The blog icon is a simple yet meaningful way to communicate with your blog readers. It communicates your blog’s look and feel and also shows that you’re an active participant in the blog’s conversation (via the icon). You can also use the icon to highlight content in your feed, and it works well with the other icons on the blog.

I’ve been using the blog icon for a while and it has just become even more important to me. It is also easily recognizable from my main blog home page and the new blog icon I added to the sidebar.

The blog icon is also a great way to communicate with your readers. If youre not involved with the blogs conversation you probably don’t see it, or you don’t have the time to get involved. But if you do, or you see it in tweets or comments, or even on the blog itself, it shows your engagement. The icon is also a great way to communicate with your readers.

And here’s a quick tip. A lot of blog owners have been trying to make the blog icon more prominent. And so far, it hasn’t been well received. Many people have suggested that they should go ahead and redo the look and feel of the blog icon, and it’s a good idea – so long as you know how to use it. If you don’t, it’s quite easy. First, open the blog and click the little “Blog icon” link.

I agree that the blog icon needs some work. But the reason that I like it is that it gives a visual cue to the readers that this is who you are. You know that they exist because the icon is there. However, if you dont, its no big deal. Its easy to click and thats all that really matters.

I do think that the blog icon should be more visible, but in a very subtle way. If it is too distracting, you might not click.

In order to be more noticeable, the blog icon should be just a tiny square.

I think that the blog icon could be a little more obvious. I would like it to appear either as a small icon on the side of the blog entry or as a small blue square on the right side of the logo (if you use the WordPress logo). I also think it should have a little border around it on the right side of the logo. There are lots of other subtle ways to indicate readers that you are who you say you are.

Blog icons are an easy way to make a blog look more professional and to show an author’s actual name. The problem is that blogs that are all about SEO and links and having people buy your books are not the best places to show off your name. You can easily get around this by putting the word name in your own title.
