I’d also recommend reading the book The Happiness Project by Dr. Phil titled “The Power of Habit.” It is a very good book and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a good book to read. Its titled A New Beginning and tells us about the power of habits and how habits are made, how they can be changed, and how they can be destroyed. It is a book that can help you with any subject that you are interested in.

I think I can safely say that every day I do something that I know is a habit. I do it all the damn time. I don’t usually think much about it. But I do it all the damn time. I have a habit of checking my email every day and I am happy with that. I have a habit of keeping my desk tidy, I am happy about that.

We can only do this if we are willing to give ourselves up to the change. I like to call it the “change your habits” approach because you have to change them slowly, not all at once.
