This Is Your Brain on lost bets blog

I have been lost in the world of lost bets. I have lost money on gambling. I have lost my job. I have lost my marriage. I have lost the love of my life. I have lost my friends. And it has all happened to me in my new home.

Like so many of us, I have been gambling again. I just won $20K in the lottery. I have a new job. I have a new house. I have a new boyfriend. I have a new cat. This is the life of someone who has lost everything and feels as though she’s the only one who doesn’t have it all.

This is exactly what happens to so many of us who gambled once too often. After losing everything, we wonder why we even bother to gamble at all. We do so because we cannot face the possibility of losing. But then we start to believe that maybe this time we can win. This is how we get depressed. This is how we get depressed because we know that we can only win if we lose again. And we start to lose again.

In the long history of lost bets, only one has been found and kept alive. A man named Edward L. Geller who lost all of his money and went crazy. The story of this man is one of the strangest things I’ve ever read. He was a gambler and a very talented man, but who has ever heard of a man losing everything and becoming a man who never gambles again? Most people think that his insanity was a result of gambling.

Well, yes and no. The only thing that comes to mind is that he lost his money and lost his money and lost his money and lost his money. He was a talented man, but he was a man who lost everything. And he just kept losing it, and then losing it, and losing it, and losing it, and finally he lost everything. And he left us a video showing us the whole thing in a way that was pretty scary.

It’s all thanks to the fact that we don’t really know who he is. We don’t know what his story is, what he did, what his motives were behind all that losing. He is a man who has lost everything, and yet he still somehow manages to live.

And then of course the man who lost everything just dies. Or something like that.

It’s as if our very own version of the Lost Dead has gone through a series of bad choices in his life, and then died at the end. When we watch Lost, and see how the characters all die or find out what happens to them after they lose everything, it’s a very powerful, horrifying experience.

I was talking with my friend this week about the possibility of a Lost Dead situation, and he said that they were all so incredibly sad and desperate that they would take their last breath in a desperate attempt to get out of their predicament. To be honest, this is not the first time I’ve heard that. In fact, I have seen a few other examples, like in the film The Sixth Sense.

Sure, I can’t say that I’ve ever really thought about it before. But the concept of a lost soul, trapped in a world of its own making, and forced to watch helplessly as its own actions and choices lead to his own destruction, is something I have thought about in the past, as a bit of a metaphor. I think it’s a good one.
