I was once a nerissa nields blogger (she is a former blogger now, but still very much a blogger), but that blog morphed into a blog called “The Nerissa Nields Project,” and it was a blog about the importance of self-awareness and mindfulness. I believe this is the first ever project-based blog, and it’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time.

This is a project-based blog which is the first Ive seen that has a focus on self-awareness as a way of life. As a blogger myself, I understand that focusing on the self and what I can learn from it takes a lot of time and energy, but I do know I can do it. I also know that it can be a very lonely endeavor as well.

Self-awareness is something that can be hard to practice. There is a definite pressure to always be looking in a certain direction and to always keep trying to find solutions. Even if you make progress, you may not be able to go back to your original self. Even if you don’t, you will be left with a great deal of regret.

There are all kinds of books and courses out there to teach you how to be self-aware, but I find the more immediate and concrete ways of self-awareness to be the most effective and rewarding.

What I learned from writing my book is that even if you do find yourself in a place where you are not making progress, that you can have a great deal of success if you take the time to step back and really look at what is going on. It is not about “getting it all done.” It is about making sure you are doing something. As the book tells us, there are a lot of things you can do to increase your own self-awareness.

Nerissa Nields is a self-professed “nerd” who has been writing about psychology, science, technology, and the ways people use technology to grow their consciousness for two decades. She has written more than a dozen books, was recognized by Wired as one of the “100 most influential people on the internet” for her work on the psychology of addiction, and has been a guest on more than a dozen television shows and NPR shows.

Nerissa is also a writer, educator, and founder of the Nerissa Nields Institute for Self-Awareness, a nonprofit that works to help individuals and groups develop a positive mindset and increase their self-awareness.
