I’ve been writing about wine for a long time now, but I’ve never written about my favorite wine. So thank you, wine, for being the first blogger.
I first found out about this blog on a wine forum, so I’m glad I found it. I’m not sure I can say how much I actually enjoy writing about wine, but I do like talking about it. I’ve also learned that it can be fun to talk about it with someone else, even if they don’t know much about wine. I think that’s why I like writing about wine.
Wine is such a subjective topic, and it takes a long while before you get your feelings on it. With wine, you’re either “in” or “out”, and if you’re “in” you’ll want to drink whatever the wine is (like a single or a blend).
No matter how much you love wine, it’s no secret that it can get a bit boring to write about it. But Im glad I found a place to talk about wine, and Im glad I found this place. Ive learned that Im not just writing about wine, Im also writing about my feelings about it, my beliefs, my relationships, etc.

It all started with a friend of mine who was looking for a place to post his wine. I had just been to a wine tasting with him and he was looking for a place to do a quick wine-blog. The only places I had ever seen for this kind of thing were wine-specific wine-blogs or wine-specific wine-blogging websites. As a wine lover I knew that a quick wine-blog was almost as good as wine in a bottle.
My friend and I were both into wine, but our tastes overlapped in that we both enjoyed a lot of different wines. We thought about what we would like to post about and decided that a blog would be a good way to share that with readers. The beauty of a wine blog is that the content is up to you. You can take any of the topics you like and write about it.
As you can imagine, wine blogs are a great way to introduce yourself to new readers and build a following. One other thing to keep in mind is that, since you’re already posting your favorite wines, you don’t have to be a wine blogger to start one. Just because you’ve decided to start a wine blog doesn’t mean you have to start a wine-specific blog.
