I love yarn. I’ve been knitting for as long as I can remember. My mom used to knit, which is why my grandma made me this sweater in elementary school. I was always fascinated by how knitting is done. I’m glad I got to be a part of yarn harlots blog, because you’ll never run out of yarn on the planet.

We all know that knitting is hard work. And if you’re like me, you will probably want to do a little more than just start knitting. I don’t think any of us can truly be at ease when we start a new project, so it’s good to have some tips and tricks to help you get the most out of your knitting.

I will admit, I knitted a couple times when I was in elementary school. But my grandmothers sweater? I just kinda liked it. It was more casual than most sweaters I knitted.

One of the reasons I love knitting is that it takes patience. It really is a labor of love. I would love to be able to walk into a shop and start knitting right away, but I also don’t think that would be as easy as picking up a knitting book or two. I’d rather wait and see how I’m doing.
